Japanese student aces essay with ‘ninja’ move Girl wrote paper in traditional invisible ink2019.11.04
AUNIVERSITY student in Japan (日本) who was studying ninja history handed in a ‘blank’ piece of paper for her essay. But Haga Eimi’s (羽賀英美) professor ended up giving her full marks, because she used a traditional ninja technique in the assignment.
The professor said creativity would be an important part of the grade. This led to Haga’s decision to use aburidashi, a ninja technique that uses invisible ink so that the words only appear when the paper is heated.
As a precaution, Haga wrote “Please heat the paper” in regular ink on the essay. Not only did the professor keep the essay, he also gave it an ‘A’, since he was very impressed by Haga’s idea.
