FOR the past 10 years, a 19-yearold in Bristol (布里斯托爾), the UK, has only eaten processed foods like potato crisps and ham, and no fruits and vegetables.
His eyesight and even his hearing began to get worse, and recently, he lost both those senses.
The young man ate only processed food and nothing else. His vision began to get blurry when he was 14, and at 17, he was almost blind. The teenager went to the doctor’s and was diagnosed with nutritional optic neuropathy due to a lack of nutrition like vitamin B, copper, and calcium. This damaged his nerves severely.
The doctor who was helping the teenager said the young man has not changed his diet and he is at risk for more chronic diseases.
