Survey: Children are happier Less stress from school and after-school activities2017.10.07
ASURVEY, conducted seven months ago but recently published, shows that children are slightly happier than before. Experts who analysed the survey said that this year’s score was a clear improvement from before. Stress from school and after-school classes has lessened, partly because of more focus on life education.
Childhood development organisation HKECDRF (香港嬰幼兒發展研究基金會) asked a tertiary college to interview over 1,600 students and 62 teachers. This year, the students’ happiness score rose from 6.5 in 2016 to 6.75.
This is the fifth year that the survey has been conducted. Many new questions regarding life education were added to the survey, mainly focusing on seminars, plays and films.
