愛子公主疑壓力大　休學一個月

日本皇太子德仁的女兒愛子公主，已經有一個月沒有上課。日本社會擔心，公主精神壓力過大，出現心理問題。官方解釋，現年14歲，就讀中等科三年級（相當於中三）的愛子因預備考試，且要為秋季運動會練習，精神壓力過大才休學。但外界揣測，因為這些小事而休學一個月不合理，她可能和她母親雅子妃一樣患上抑鬱症。據說愛子公主因身分特殊，從小不愛上學，時有缺席，她的母親更會親自陪她讀書，希望能協助女兒克服困難。

Princess Aiko, the daughter of Crown Prince Naruhito, has been absent from school for a month for health reasons. The public are concerned that she may be battling with stress-related mental problems. Palace officials said the 14-year-old Princess Aiko complained of fatigue from studying for exams after the summer vacation and practising for an athletic meet at her junior high school. However, the Japanese media believes it is unreasonable to miss school for such a long period, and speculates Princess Aiko could be suffering from depression just like her mother, Crown Princess Masako, who has been diagnosed with depression for a decade. Because of her special identity, it was obvious that Princess Aiko had occasionally missed classes. Her mother had been accompanying her to school in the hope that she could overcome her problems.
