多款擦膠含塑化劑 忌亂咬免損健康

　　擦膠是常用文具，為日常生活帶來方便。不過，消費者委員會抽樣檢驗市面25款擦膠時發現，有24款含有塑化劑，當中超過一半的塑化劑含量超出台灣規定的上限。塑化劑可以令擦膠變得柔軟及富有彈性，但台灣當局認為，它有可能影響健康。消委會則指，在正常使用情況下，使用這些擦膠不會對健康造成即時威脅，但提醒家長制止子女舔舐、吸吮及啃咬擦膠的習慣。

 　　The eraser is a common item of stationery that provides us convenience in life. However, the Consumer Council conducted a test of 25 erasers which were randomly chosen. It found that 24 erasers contain plasticisers; the amount of plasticisers in 14 erasers were higher than the limit set by Taiwan authorities. Plasticisers make erasers soft and elastic, but Taiwan authorities believed that it may affect health. Although the Council stated that there is no imminent health threat under normal conditions, the Council reminded parents to stop their children licking, sucking or chewing erasers.
