The world's first pizza delivery robot rolls out2016.04.15
YOU may have ordered pizzas from shops and had them delivered to your home. It is a very convenient practice. But would it not be exciting to have a robot deliver pizzas? In Brisbane (布利斯班), Australia (澳洲), the world’s first pizza robot delivered its first batch of hot meals.
It is called the ‘Domino’s Robotic Unit’, or DRU. It is used by the Domino’s Pizza chain. It weighs about 1,000 kilograms and has a maximum speed of 20 kilometres per hour. The DRU is also not affected by traffic congestion. Customers must enter a special code to get the food they have ordered when it arrives.
