人工智能首勝圍棋冠軍

圍棋一盤的對奔有千百萬種變化，科學家普遍認為「人工智能」要在圍棋中戰勝職業人類選手，至少還需數十年。不過早前Google人工智能AlphaGo卻在對手沒有讓子的情況下，以直落五比零完勝樊麾──歐洲圍棋冠軍，目前是法國國家圍棋隊總教練。AlphaGo能觀察對手部署，並根據數據和經驗決定下一步，故能創下人工智能於棋藝上完美擊敗人類的歷史。今年3月，AlphaGo將與10年來全球最頂級圍棋的韓國傳奇高手李世乭對賽，且看AlphaGo能否再下一城！

The game Go has so many possibilities in one match, scientists believed that it would require a long period of time before artificial intelligence methods can outsmart a professional go player. However, that is what happened when the computer program AlphaGo, developed by an artificial intelligence company owned by Google, proved that AI can beat humans. AlphaGo beat Fan Hui, the European Go champion, five times out of five under tournament conditions despite the latter putting up a good fight. AlphaGo can predict the opponent’s methods that were deduced from game experience and data. AlphaGo will also have a match against the South Korean professional Lee Sedol, considered by many to be the world’s strongest player in these last ten years. It is scheduled for March.
