UK kids spend more time with PCs than TVs
2016.02.02DO you spend more time in front of a computer or a television set? For the first time in the United Kingdom (英國), children are spending more time online than watching television.
When computers and other electronic products like mobile phones and tablets first appeared years ago, children still spent more time watching TV than on these devices. But a survey conducted by Childwise, a leading research group on children and young people, found that British kids now spend three hours online but two hours watching TV daily.
Naturally, YouTube is their most popular website. The video streaming service Netflix is visited every day by almost half of the 2,000 children aged 5 to 16. This may be because many children have access to an iPad now.
