不做低頭族 避免脊骨移位

低頭族經常機不離手,易導致肩頸腰背痠痛。有外國研究指當頸部前傾60度時,相等於負着一名8歲小童在頸上。浸會大學體育系去年觀察了4,600多人使用手機的姿勢,發現超過7成人低頭使用手機時頸部前傾達30度以上,若他們長期維持同樣姿勢,輕則肌肉繃緊痠痛,重則令脊椎移位。負責研究的雷雄德教授指出如提手步行、坐着將雙手舉高等,均能紓緩肩頸肌肉繃緊情況。不過這都是治標不治本,最重要還是改變用手機姿勢。

Researchers have discovered that when you lower your head by 60 degrees, it is similar to bearing an eight-year-old child on your neck. Baptist University’s department of Physical Education studied 4,600 people from October to December last year, and observed that over 70 percent of them lowered their head to 30 degrees when they were using their mobile. If they kept this pose for a long period of time, they will get muscular stiffness, or even subluxation. Dr. Lobo Louie, the professor who lead the project, introduced a set of exercises to relieve stiffness including walking with raised hands, keeping your hands held high when seated, etc. However, these methods only treat the symptoms but not the root cause. Changing your pose when using your mobile is the best way to cure the problem.
