Lego Vatican made for Pope to feel at home in the US

THE Pope visited the United States (美國) last week. There were of course many different activities and souvenirs to welcome him. One of them was a model of the Vatican (梵蒂岡) made with Lego (樂高) bricks!

Pope Francis (方濟各) visited Washington, DC (首都華盛頓), New York (紐約) and Philadelphia (費城).

A Catholic priest called Bob Simon who lived near Philadelphia has always been a Lego fan all through his life. He spent about 10 months to assemble St Peter’s Basilica (聖伯多祿大殿) with about half a million Lego!

It was an exhibit at the Frankin Institute in Philadelphia when the Pope visited the state.
