SOME people donate money to charities. Others may do something like running a marathon – a distance of 42.195 kilometres – to raise money. But Rob Young, a 31-year-old man in London (倫敦), the UK (英國), is doing much more. Since April, he has run at least one marathon a day to raise money, and he hopes to do it for a whole year!

Do not think that he does nothing other than running. Every day, he runs his marathon early in the morning and then goes to work! Although Young had never run a marathon before he started this mission, he hopes to set a new world record of running 365 marathons in one year. He has chosen to support three children’s charities – the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), Dreams Come True and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.
