Scientists predict faces of the future 2013.07.15

JUST like most animals, human features evolve from time to time. Some artists and scientists are curious to know how we would look many years in the future. They have even come up with some pictures of future faces according to their predictions. Artist Nickolay Lamm partnered with scientist Alan Kwan to predict how human faces could look 20,000, 60,000 and 100,000 years in the future. They based their ideas on future human features by predicting what their living environments might be like. They also researched how humans have evolved over the last 500 to 700 years. The two believe humans will have much bigger eyes because they will be travelling in the darkness of space much more. Their eyes have to be larger to become more sensitive to light and see better. They also believe the average human head will increase in size as brains will become larger. Future humans will have darker skin to protect themselves from UV rays.
