NOWADAYS almost everyone has a mobile phone. But not every one knows about the danger that is hidden in your phone’s battery. Last month alone, there were at least three phone explosion accidents in Hong Kong.
According to phone experts, there are three major causes for phone explosions: old batteries, the use of third-party brand of batteries and overheating.
Mobile phone batteries can usually last for two years of use. But if you are using a smartphone, your battery will be less durable. The many features and apps installed on smartphones will drain the batteries quickly.
Using third-party batteries and chargers is also bad for your phone. It is because there is no guarantee of the quality of the parts. Third-party components may also not be compatible with the components that come with the phone.
Overheating mobile phones is also an important warning sign for danger. Using your smartphone while charging it will cause it to overheat. Your phone may explode if its temperature gets too high.
