Electronics have become a necessary part of our lives. Recently, the WHO sent out guidelines on how much screen time infants should have for the first time, suggesting that babies less than one year old should not go near electronic devices. This include television, movies, and computer games. Children aged two to four should have as little screen time as possible, with one hour as the maximum. The WHO also stressed that kids should stay away from electronics right before bedtime. Paediatricians point out that babies are already spending a lot of time in front of a screen as they grow up, and that would increase the risk of eye problems and affect the development of their character.
