THE Hongkong Post has announced that it will be releasing Year of the Pig postal products on the 12th of this month. The set will have four stamps about pigs, made from fabric, carved wood, ceramics and jade. There will also be a special stamp featuring a gilded pig image.
The Post will also be releasing the second set of stamps in its Chinese zodiac series. They will feature silver dogs, for the past lunar year, and gold pigs, for the coming one. This set will come with a certificate saying that the pig stamp uses real 22 karat gold.
The Post will also be releasing empty red envelopes featuring pigs for the coming lunar year. They will be sold at the Post’s headquarters, the Tsim Sha Tsui office, the Tseun Wan office, the Sha Tin office, the Tuen Mun office and online.
