THE Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC, 香港貿易發展局) held an Entrepreneur Day and one of the companies, Hi Cooler, has developed a small air-conditioner that sends out zero pollution and can be used outdoors.
The inventor of the gadget and founder of Hi Cooler, Kascien Chan (陳家潤), said the cooling system uses water vapour and the invention revolutionises air-conditioners. He added it can be used while hiking and camping, and can be attached to a baby stroller.
The device can be recharged using a USB port, and cost about HK$780. Chan added that it took the company four to five years to invent the device, and it is made completely in Hong Kong.
