At the entrance of the exhibition are two large screens showing the three-dimensional map of the Silk Road. caravan, and so on. Terence Cheung Yui-sum (張銳森) of the museum said, “Many people assume the Silk Road goes through only deserts, but there are many different environments and climate, such as river valleys and mountain ranges.”
Since the Silk Road saw its most important developments during the Han and Tang Dynasties, the exhibition focuses on those two eras.
